Free blank Santa letter templates: 4 printable designs
These are four free letter templates styled as letters from Santa, for parents, grandparents and teachers to fill in by hand. Each page has “Dear ____,” at the top, blank writing lines and a signature line at the end. There are no names and no pre-written text, so you decide what each letter says. You get one 4-page PDF in US Letter and one in A4, with no sign-up and no email.

The 4 designs
The PDF has one design on each page, with a small tinymapleco.com credit at the bottom.

How to use them
- Download and print. Pick US Letter or A4, then print the pages you want at Actual size or 100%, with any Fit to page option turned off.
- Fill it in by hand. Write a name after “Dear,” add your message on the lines, and sign on the signature line with a pen or pencil.
- Hand it over. Fold the letter into an envelope, then leave it where the child will find it or give it to them yourself. Nothing is mailed for you.
Printing in grayscale
The designs are in color. To save ink, choose grayscale in your print dialog. Kraft and wax seal has a background across the whole page, so it uses more ink than the others. Print one page first to check how it looks on your printer.
For a whole class
You can print as many copies as you need and fill each one in by hand. If you would rather not write them all, the class letter tool makes one letter per child from a pasted list of up to 40 first names, in one PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Are these Santa letters really free, and do I need to sign up?
Yes, they are free, and there is nothing to sign up for. There is no account, no email and no payment. The PDF downloads straight from this page.
Can I type into the letters on my computer?
No. The pages are images, so they are made for writing on paper with a pen or pencil, not for typing into. If you would like the letter filled in for you, the free Letter from Santa generator on this site makes one from a first name.
Can I print them in black and white?
Yes. The designs are in color. To save ink, choose grayscale in your print dialog. Kraft and wax seal has a background across the whole page, so it uses more ink than the others.
Can I use them with my class?
Yes. They are free to use at home and in your own classroom. Not every family celebrates Christmas or tells the Santa story, so check with families before you send letters home. For one letter per child, the class tool makes a set from a pasted list of up to 40 first names.
