Free letter from Santa, made for your child
Type your child’s first name, pick one of four letter designs, and download a personal letter from Santa as an image or a printable PDF. It takes about a minute, and it is free.
How to use it
- Type your child’s first name. It is the only field you need.
- If you like, add their age, something they did well this year and one wish. The wording changes to fit: shorter sentences for ages 2–4, a little more grown-up from age 9.
- Pick a design. Click “Try different wording” for another version of the letter.
- Download the image (1080 × 1350, good for phones and messages) or the PDF to print in US Letter or A4.
Ideas for a Santa letter tradition
- Be specific about the good thing. “Helped out at home” is nice. “Carried the shopping bags without being asked” lands even better. Choose “Something else” and type it in.
- Print it on thicker paper and fold it in thirds, like real mail. Seal it in an envelope with your child’s name on the front.
- Choose a delivery moment. Next to the cookie plate on Christmas morning, inside a Christmas Eve box, or in the mailbox in early December.
- Read it aloud with little ones. For ages 2–4, go slowly and point to the signature at the end.
- Keep every year’s letter. Write the year on the envelope and put it in a box. Kids love rereading old letters, and so do grown-ups.

Frequently asked questions
Is this letter from Santa generator really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no email and no payment. The only extra on the letter is a small “tinymapleco.com” line at the very bottom.
Do you save my child’s name or details?
No. The letter is drawn by your own browser on this page. The name, age, good deed and wish are not sent to us or to anyone else, and nothing is stored. When you close the page, they are gone.
How do I print the letter from Santa?
Click “Download PDF to print”, choose US Letter or A4, and print at “Actual size / 100%”. The letter sits on the page with a margin, so home printers will not cut off the edges. Thicker paper (cardstock or 120 gsm) looks and feels nicest.
Will the letter promise my child a specific present?
No. If you add a wish, Santa says he read it and keeps it safe in his big book, but he never promises a gift. That way the letter still works whatever is under the tree.
Can I put this tool on my blog or website?
Yes. The embed page has a copy-and-paste code that shows a lightweight version of the tool on your own page, free.
